Interactive Sales Tool
Experian needed a powerful interactive sales tool that could communicate complex data products to potential clients in a clear and compelling way.
We developed a bespoke digital experience that allowed its B2B sales teams to create meaningful conversations, that converts better than static PowerPoints.
This is how we achieved it...
01

The primary focus of the tool was to introduce animation throughout, creating a more engaging experience than static PowerPoint slides. Content remained easy to scan, with animation used to reinforce the message wherever possible.
Working closely with the sales teams, read-throughs were held for each section to ensure the pacing of the content was correct. To make it a truly global solution, multi-language translation was included, supporting the Experian sales teams across the world.
This would not have been possible on other design-centric platforms, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, or as a filmed animation where there isn't any functionality for multiple languages and screen aspect ratios.
02
The content needed rethinking, not just reformatting. Working closely with Experian, it became clear that animating their existing PowerPoint material wasn't enough, the features and benefits of each service had to be reimagined from the ground up.
03
A key benefit of the interactive format was the ability to run live calculations, allowing figures to be modelled against a prospect's own numbers during a pitch.
The tool could be adapted further according to the profile of the prospect being pitched to.
04
Simple navigation was essential, but the ability to submit feedback easily during a pitch was more important still. This allowed conversations to continue after the meeting and enabled recurring themes to be identified across multiple pitches.
Speaker notes were also introduced, providing sales staff with additional detail on each slide to support preparation ahead of a pitch.
The Results
Following a successful launch, which delivered a significant increase in enquiries, we were commissioned to develop equivalent tools for Experian's credit rating facility. These connect to the original tool, allowing content to adapt according to the client being visited.
